They say when you do something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life — and we’ve seen some rather extreme interpretations of that lately (aka getting paid to play with cats and watch Netflix). But if food, namely breakfast, is more your speed, listen up: The job title is “Bacon Critic,” and yes, it means you can get paid to eat your favorite morning meat.
The position is with Extra Crispy, a new all-breakfast website, and they’re seeking someone with an “insatiable hunger — for bacon.” To get the gig, you’ll have to write a 600-word essay about why you would be the best tester for them. If you’re selected, say hello to three months of researching, writing and (most importantly) eating bacon as their team expert.
Sound like a dream come true? The best part is the position is remote so anyone in the United States can apply — just make sure you send in your application by June 24, 2016. And, in the name of research, you should probably fire up the pan with a few strips beforehand. We can hear the sound of it sizzling and snapping already.
