Country music fans will soon be able to cook like Kix Brooks. The singer is set to release his own cookbook this summer.

Brooks, half of country duo Brooks & Dunn and a solo artist, will release Cookin’ It With Kix: The Art of Celebrating and the Fun of Outdoor Cooking on Aug. 30. The cookbook includes over 100 personal recipes from Brooks and his friend and co-writer Donna Britt. In addition to recipes that showcase Brooks’ Louisiana heritage, Cookin’ It With Kix features family recipes accompanied by personal stories from the singer.

“This cookbook is all about making it easy to be outside creating memories with the people who mean the most to you,” says Brooks in a press release. “Whether you are getting ready for a backyard BBQ, planning a menu for Thanksgiving dinner or want to cook up some fish you just pulled out of a stream, we have recipes for you.
